VIKING Global servicing


The servicing department coordinates global servicing of maritime life-saving equipment and supports VIKING's global network of 270 authorised servicing stations.




Technical training, manuals and inspections (liferafts)
This department ensures quality control of servicing stations and coordinates with subsidiaries to issue technical approvals for stations, conduct and report on inspections and follow-ups for servicing stations. It coordinates servicing globally and provides technical assistance to servicing stations, providing manuals, coordinates training and participates in development projects.

Commercial contracts and spare parts
Global servicing coordinates the establishment of new servicing stations and any changes within the network. It qualifies servicing stations within their controlling body and communicate with potential stations, agents and subsidiaries. Procedures for adminstration and information are issued from here. Each controlling body coordinates their network of servicing stations and gathers information for their and the entire global network's use. The department coordinates customer requests for service, servicing manuals and sells spare parts to servicing stations.
